Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into the limelight in 1994 when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't nothing but A Number. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. R. Kelly was a key influence on the collaboration that put her in the limelight. In 1996, she released her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the top-selling track If Your Girl Only had known. Aaliyah gained international fame for her R&B singing with this album. In 2000, she was on the screen in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. She got this role when she was spotted by the film's producer Joel Silver at an awards event. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the vampire flick Queen of the Damned which was inspired by The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee, after appearing as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions that same year. She was nominated four times at the Grammy Awards in 1999, 2001 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is from Indian descent and was born in Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage first name Mankad. She uses Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar for her stage name. While her initial career was filled with minor television and film parts, she gained notoriety in the late 2000s. Other notable works she has done comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. Her commercials have featured prominent brands like Volvo. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
