Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into the limelight in 1994 when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't nothing but A Number. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. R. Kelly was a key influence on the collaboration that put her in the limelight. In 1996, she released her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the top-selling track If Your Girl Only had known. Aaliyah gained international fame for her R&B singing with this album. The actress is from Indian descent and was born in Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage first name Mankad. She uses Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar for her stage name. While her initial career was filled with minor television and film parts, she gained notoriety in the late 2000s. Other notable works she has done comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. Her commercials have featured prominent brands like Volvo. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
