Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, who was born on 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema along with a handful of Malayalam. The actress was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s when she was a child actor. She returned to the film industry after completing her studies in the field of fashion. Her first leading part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working in projects that weren't Malayalam in 2015. She also signed up to appear in multiple Tamil films at the same time. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be an immediate success in the box office. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her to opt out of films that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played as the main characters on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. However, the film is delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September in 2020, under the new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni.
