Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
The jazz performer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award-winner was born on the 20th of February 1937 in Ohio, Chillicothe. She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as a housekeeper. Nancy was the oldest of six children. Nancy loved listening to records from her father as well as his enthusiasm for music. When she was just four an age, she knew she'd be a singing star. The talent she developed was cultivated due to her participation in the choir at church. In high school the singer was regularly featured on Skyline Melodies. The nightclubs where she was a regular performer, she began performing at the age of 15. Nancy quit Central State University in Ohio after matriculating for an entire year. In 1956, she recorded her debut record with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with which she toured between 1956 between 1956 and 1958. Nancy released her debut recording via Dot Records during the time she spent with this group. Cannonball adderley advised her to move into New York in order to increase her fame. She went to The Big Town, New York in 1959. Within a month she got an offer to sing at The Blue Morocco Night Club located on Boston Road in The Bronx which was where her agent was introduced to her voice and agreed to sign her. In 1960, she was signed to Capitol Records and in that the same year, she debuted her debut single. Guess Who I Saw Today. Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums within two years. Adderley encouraged her to shift away from R&B in favor of music that was more jazz-based and torch songs. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley joined forces in 1962 and helped push her up in the chart. By 1963 she achieved her biggest hit by releasing Tell Me the Truth. The singer was offered a position at New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's premier club.
Maisie Richardson Sellers (born Maisie Elizabeth Sellers) is an British TV and film actress. She was Chloe Winthrop's lead in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth. She portrayed Michal, the daughter of King Saul in ABC's Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Maisie Richson-Sellers, born February 2, 1992 from England (United Kingdom), is the daughter of Joy Richardson. Her mother's name is Joy Richardson. She attended an exclusive high school prior to graduation from Oxford University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Archaeology & Anthropology. Maisie's professional career started in the acting world by appearing in the 2012 short Our First World. Ellie is a little girl played by Maisie in a 2012 short film Americano and Rum. She was cast in a small cameo part as Korr Sella in the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force is awakening. She was then cast as Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's Original films The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
